ABOUT US
Capt. Robert Galbreath grew up fishing the Upper Laguna Madre and its
tributaries. His vast knowledge of the area comes from his
experience acquired from spending many hours and days along the
south Texas coastline. He prides himself on his strong sense of coastal
conservation and customer satisfaction.
Capt Robert is licensed by the
US Coast Guard and by Texas Parks and Wildlife and is fully insured. He caters to
private, family or corporate groups. He will share his passion and
knowledge with others, whether it it a group of experienced anglers or a
group of beginning fisherman. Galbreath Guide service is not just a
fishing guide service, its a fishing school.
We will fish for trout, redfish, flounder and a few other species of
fish that
our bay systems offer. We will spend the day mostly wade fishing. We
will do some drift fishing but wading is our primary method of stalking
fish.WHAT'S INCLUDED
First, a lot of clean good unforgettable fun.
Ice, bottled water, fish
cleaning and packaging.
We prefer you bring the equipment you are comfortable with using. With
advanced notice, we
will provide tackle. We use only the best and,
unfortunately, we have to enforce a "You break-You buy" policy.
BOAT INFO
Your charter boat is an 21-foot Shoalwater Catamaran powered by an 150HP
Evinrude E-Tech motor. Completely rigged and ready to fish, the boat can travel
very shallow but can also take a wave and still stay dry.
TRIP PRICING
Fishing trips start at
$500 per day ($400 half day) for up to two fishermen and $75 for each additional
person. Groups of five are possible on wade fishing trips only. Sometimes
parties of four or more may require an extra boat. On catch-and-release
trips there is a $50 dollar discount.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are best made as far in advance as possible to insure a
desired date.
A $100 deposit will be required to reserve your trip.
Deposits are fully refundable with two week's notice. If you must cancel
with less than two week's notice, your deposit will be applied to a
future date within a year.
Weather-related cancellations will be up to Capt. Robert's discretion.
Some of the best fishing happens in the rain. We won't do lightning!
